300years Sencha SHOJIRO

We make this Sencha from rare tea trees indigenous to Uji, believed to be approximately 300 years old. Even made from same Uji indigenous tea tree, Gyokuro is covered prior to harvest, to reduce photosynthesis and increase the amino acid content of the tea leaves. But we produce our Sencha without any such artificial farming methods. The leaves fully absorb the sunlight — for a final product authentically conveying the tea’s natural aroma and taste.
