300years Sencha SHOJIRO

This sencha is made from a rare Uji indigenous tree that is estimated to be about 300 years old. Gyokuro, another native Uji variety, is covered before harvesting to reduce photosynthesis and increase the amount of amino acids in the tea leaves. In the case of sencha, we do not use such artificial farming methods to produce our tea. It absorbs the sun's rays to the full and is the most honest way to taste the flavour and taste of tea.
