We use only tea leaves grown from native seeds, which are estimated to be 300 years old and are said to have been planted by a founder, Shojiro . It is grown without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers.
This gyokuro is made only from the excellent cultivar \”Goko\” for Gyokuro. It has a rich, eye-opening flavor with a refreshing aftertaste, and is one of the proudest products of the Uji-Shirakawa region.
